This is the poster I did for the Graphic Design Festival Poster project. 50 international designers were asked to design a A0 sized poster that will be displayed in the streets of Breda during the festival (8 - 30 may 2010). My poster is about learning the rules of the road because I am trying to get my drivers licence this summer
With the Graphic Design Festival Breda coming up, I did a small interview for GDFB tv. (Sorry, Dutch only) I tell about my work as an freelance illustrator so far and what kind of stuff I am going to make for the festival. You can see my work in the central station of Breda, where I will make an object behind one of the windows in the terminal. In the city park, where I will be live painting one of the Giant papertoys made by Loulou & Tummie at Saturday May 8th. I was also selected as one of the 57 designers worldwide to design a A0 sized poster that will be displayed in the streets of Breda during the festival (8 - 30 may 2010).
Thursday december 10th I am asked to give a small presentation about my work during the Pecha Kucha Event. Pecha Kucha is japanese for No small talk, so I have to cut to the core. During the event 15 creatives like designers, illustrators, and photographers all present 20 slides for twenty seconds each. No more boring lectures, painful seminars or tiring presentations. Pecha Kucha Night offers the audience the experience of a dazzling range of speakers and images in one evening. So if you would like to see me screw up in front of 150 people, you can visit the event, that is part of the Breda Graphic Design Festival, for free this thursday 8pm at Centrum voor Beeldcultuur, Reigerstraat 16 in Breda.
